    Hi Hal!

    I received the fuel pump yesterday and all I can say is WOW! It looks like it's off the show room floor of 1949! Thanks for a job well done!

    Hello Hal:

    Installed the carb and fuel pump today...perfect, right out of the box. You have now done our 48 Kaiser, 49 Kaiser and 51 Frazer. Thanks!

    All I can say is WOW!!! What a beautiful job you did restoring my old carb!!! It looks amazing. It looks brand new! I installed it this week. I am just finishing the gas tank and fuel lines, so I will start the truck hopefully this weekend coming up!

    You are incredible!! You are a true craftsman!

    Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    Hey Hal:

    Received the pump (military Jeep AC double action) today.

    Very nicely done and packaged. Looks like a piece of art.

    I will send a photo when it is mounted.

    Received the Stromberg OT-3 today. What a masterpiece! You are certainly quite the artisan. Thanks for the photo disc as well. A nice added touch. Perhaps we can take a ride on her if you are in the area sometime before she goes to her final resting place [the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake, New York]. Hope to have the restoration completed by mid Spring 2014. It was a pleasure doing business with you.

    Hello Hal;

    I purchased a fuel pump kit for a friendís 1956 Olds 88 and rebuilt the pump and it works as designed. I was impressed with the quality of the kitand by the quality of your exceptional service. I had emailed you several times with some questions and you replied right away even while you were on vacation!!!! Unheard of in todayís world. We who love Classic vehicles and things from simpler times are lucky to have someone like you to supply parts and advice when we need them.

    I received my kit in the mail Monday and would just like to say thank you for your great service and quality kit, as well as the invitation to your newsletter. I haven't had an opportunity to respond yet, but wanted to let you know that I am a member of and have requested that you be added as a source to the Vendors/Services list. I'm going to be needing a carburetor kit for my '53 Clipper in the near future so hope to be getting back with you on that when the time comes.

    I hope you remember me. Some many months ago you rebuilt the carburetor and fuel pump for my 1949 Buick Super. I've been restoring it for quite some time. The carburetor and fuel pump are now on the engine and I thought you might like to see some photos of your craftsmanship as it appears on the old gal.

    Again, many thanks for your good work.

    All the best,

    We spoke on the phone a few days ago about my fuel pump leaking gas from the hole in the lower half of the pump housing - I followed your advice about flattening the internal cup saucers that contact the diaphragm and low and behold that stopped the leak! Thank you for your expert advice - my 1931 Packard came back to life just in time for the 4th of July. Happy 4th to you and yours - If you are ever in the Milwaukee area I would like to shake your skilled hand.

    Just a short note to tell you how pleased I am with the carburetor. As soon as it arrived I installed it. The engine started right up and after a few minor adjustments the truck ran like a dream. Thanks so much for a job well done.

    Hi Hal;

    I received the fuel pump you restored for me. The quality is excellent. I appreciate your efforts and the fact that you are true to your word. I will not be able to test the pump, right away. I read all of the info you included with the pump, and won't have any trouble following your recommendations. I am replacing the entire fuel system in the car, hence the reason for not being able to test right away. Again, thank you. I will recommend you to anyone that asks.

    Terry in New York

    Mr. Hal;

    The fuel pump looks great. I'm sure, once I get the engine re-assembled, it will work great as well. Thanks for your honest and detailed effort.

    Ernest R.

    Just a note to let you know I received the fuel pump for the FWD. I showed it to two friends who thought that I had purchased a new pump. Thank you for the great work you do. I almost hate to put it back on that old truck. I would put it up on the mantle if I had one. Have a good day.

    Tom T.

    Got the kit a couple days ago; everything looks great, as always. Thank you very much for the great products and even greater service.

    Hello again Hal!

    Sorry I did not let you know about the fuel pump kit for the fire engine sooner.

    (Thankfully I have been very busy lately)

    Your kit and instructions were top notch.

    We now have no leaks and an easy cruising speed of 50mph!

    I'm sure I speak for all at Elgin Fire Barn 5...

    You're the MAN!

    And my personal thank you

    Bill H.

    Thank You so much for the prompt service on our fuel pump. I was amazed at how clean it was when I received it. It virtually looks brand new.

    Tom C.

    Hi Hal,

    Got the fuel pump on the other day. She's running like a champ! It looked so nice I [almost] didn't want to install it, (haha). Thanks again, and fantastic work!

    Chris B.

    Good morning Hal.

    I want to compliment you on the beautiful job you did on the fuel pump I sent you. It looks like a brand new part and is a beautiful thing to look at. You do really beautiful work. Sadly that is something that is dying in this country. It is easier to throw things away and buy a replacement.

    Tom T.

    Talk about service! I just ordered the kit on Monday and received it already today! Fantastic service.

    Well, I've run into a first. A "Thank You" note for my order, and a Monday to Saturday- Coast to Coast service. I received my order Saturday and was very pleasantly surprised at the unexpected service. Normally when I'm told that one of the items will have to be "a special order" I expect at least a 4 - 6 week wait. I am skeptical at some of the reviews posted at websites but am convinced that your's were "RIGHT ON".

    Wow, got the carburetor in the mail today and it is simply beautiful. Great work!

    Hi Hal,

    The pump is in the car and working like a champ. The Buick is running again. Yeah!!

    You are one of those rare individuals who show they care even when there is no gain in it for them. Rare and appreciated. I will place your information in my files as I know eventually I will have cause to contact you to repair one of the old Corvette/Carter fuel pumps that I know come apart. My extraordinary thanks.

    Matthew Y.

    Dear Hal;

    WOW--great job on the restoration. What a piece of artwork. I can't wait to put in the boat. Will let you know how it all works out.

    Hello Hal;

    I am very pleased with the restoration work that you performed on my fuel pump. I don't know if I should install it on my engine or display it in a glass showcase - it's that good looking! I have been a machinist for 30+ years and recognize quality workmanship when I see it - yours is the best!

    Bob P.

    I just wanted to say thank you for fixing my Airtex 1550 fuel pump. You're a very good man. I hope to do business again.

    Andrew Groves

    Mr Houghton;

    I received my fuel pump kit, and I would like to say thanks. It looks great, and you were fast and nice to deal with.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Hal!

    Got the fuel pump back today, THANK YOU for a job well done such a fast turnaround time. I wasn't expecting it back already. It looks great and you definitely kept your promise of getting it back earlier.

    Nice dealing with people like you.

    Hi Hal. I have great news. My fuel pump is working great. I drove the car into the car show this morning. Thanks for your time and I will keep you on file if further need arises.

    Re: 28 Pontiac

    Happy New Year Hal!

    Take care,

    Hello Hal:

    That 48 Kaiser is now running smoothly...carburetor and fuel pump doing great.

    Just to let you know, I received my parts yesterday--Saturday--and they are beautiful. You are an automobile rebuilder artist. I am doing other work on the Nash and I will let you know how everything turns out.

    Thanks so much.

    Hello Hal;

    Just received the carb last week. beautiful.

    Will send the fuel pump next.

    Bruce. H.

    Received my fuel pump the other day, NICE job. I'm sure it will work fine for many years.

    I just wanted to say thank you very much. You responses to me were very quick and helpful, and you called and took my order for my fuel pump kit. I got the kit on Saturday 3/20/11 and installed it Sunday and now my car is up and running again. What a pleasure it is to deal with people like you. If I need anything else I know where to check first.

    Again, thank you.

    Hey Hal!

    I just got the pump back today. Wonderful job! Looks brand new. I'm sure it will perform like new. Thanks! I think I may be in the market for one of those electric pumps in the near future to suppliment the mechanical for easier starting after she sits for a few weeks. I'll be in touch. Thanks again.

    HI Hal...

    I want to thank you for the wonderful job you did on restoring the fuel pumps and the filter bowl tops.

    Believe me it was well worth the wait for the results....

    Thank you again for a job well done...

    Received on Friday
    Installed on Saturday
    She runs like a charm. Thank you--a nice looking job.

    Thanks for the great job on the 428 Cobra Jet fuel pump rebuild on my 70 Cougar. The job looked flawlwss especially where the pivit rod cap was so crudely locked in from the factory...A truly professional job well done. Looks better than new and works well.

    I just called my dad and he said that he received it Saturday. He was holding off telling me til I got there. He said it looks like a new one...the hard part is gonna be matching the truck to look as good as the carburetor now. Thanks for everything!

    My Dad just called and said his pump had returned, and he is extremely happy !!

    Thanks for ALL your troubles, been a pleasure doing business with you.

    I will be SURE to tell all about your Service !!

    I received my fuel pump kit today, thanks for the speedy shipping. I was impressed by the number of services and parts you supply as well as the personal touch of the thank you card.

    I have contacted my friend, a man who is involved with more vintage vehicle groups than I could even remember. He knows people everywhere and is into every kind of classic machinery that you can imagine. His, and my, first love is International Harvester products. He has amassed a large book of resources for our International brethren and your name has been added. I have also given him a glowing review of how I was treated during this transaction. His name is Doc (it wouldn't surprise me if you knew the name) and I am sure his recommendation will go a long way towards promoting the Classic Preservation Coalition within his various groups.

    Thanks again, I'm sure we will be doing more business together in the future.

    I received the vacuum tank back on Friday, and installed it on the 1927 Pontiac yesterday. The car ran beautifully, which it has not done for quite some time. I am very, very pleased with the results of your work. The tank looks great, too! Thank you for an excellent job.

    - J.T.

    Works of art. Thanks for the attention to detail.

    - W.C.

    Hello Hal,

    I don't know if you remember, but a few months back I purchased a rebuilt Carter Thermoquad from you. I would like to thank you because it runs perfectly.

    - E.B.

    Hi Hal,

    Just letting you know I received the carburetor and am extremely happy with the way the restoration came out. It is beautiful and looks like it just came out of the original box. I am looking forward to getting it installed when I get my motor back from a rebuild. Also thanks for the installation instructions. I will be recommending you to all my friends.

    - Wayne

    My fuel pump arrived today. It looks real good. I will be putting back on the classic in April. Thank you for the prompt service.

    Best regards,

    Thanks so much for what you did with the fuel pump that I sent you for my 1960 Chrysler.

    You truly do beautiful work!

    I'll be in touch soon to get her carb off to you, hopefully in the next month, if that's good timing for you.

    Thanks again!

    - Bryan

    Hi Hal,

    Just wanted to take a minute to thank you. You located the right rebuild kit, took the time to let me know what was going on and when I should receive it. Oh yeah you were also very polite in your e-mails. Gee, maybe the service industry isn't totally dead yet. Nice job; I'll do business with you folks anytime.

    - T.G.

    Thank you very much for the very nice Carter wcd rebuild for my Pontiac 49. It required very little tweaking, was beautifully done, and has made all the difference. I appreciate your meticulous work. Thanks again.

    Great job, then only problem is now the best part of each piece of equipment is your carburetor. The one is in a 1952 Krane Kar all chain drive mobile yard crane, the second in a 1969 Acme marine travel lift, both of which are now back in service at our steel fabrication shop.

    Thanks again.

    - Greg

    I meant to drop you a line earlier but the holidays pushed things back a bit. I just wanted to tell you how absolutely fabulous the carburetor looks. Looks like it just came from the factory, you did a beautiful job, next time I need a rebuild you'll be the only one I consider. Thanks for all the hard work, now I've just got to get the rest of the truck to look as good.

    - A.T.

    Dear Hal,

    A Million Thank You's For The Wonderful Restoration Job On My Fuel Pump---I Put The Pump Back In & The Car Started Right Up & Runs Great--Thank You !!!!!!

    Bill F.

    The carburetor arrived today.

    What can I say? I've read all the glowing remarks that others have offered about your workmanship. I echo all of them. It looks fantastic. The car won't be ready for the road for a year or so, but this gem stays in the bag (with the thoughtfully added desiccant package) on the shelf until the engine is rebuilt and ready for this crown.

    All of the technical literature is much appreciated.

    I'll be in touch soon regarding the fuel pump rebuilds.

    All the best,
